Why can’t Grandparent’s Day be all day? My Grandpa Max and Grandma Karen came. We’ve been practicing a lot for Grandparent’s Day. First, we went into the theater for the program. Everyone loved it. Then, we came back to the classroom for introductions and our poems. My poem was about a boy who knocked down the sun with a stone. I chose it because the boy’s name was my name. Next, Mrs. Johnson took some pictures and we went to lunch. We saw our table decorations on the tables. After that, we had recess, but I came in and played on the computer. It was really fun. We played on the computer a long time, but after that we had to say good-bye. Today was my favorite Grandparent’s Day EVER!!!!!
