Celebrating Our 100th Day of School
by Michelle Schmer
Sutton Elementary students celebrated the 100th Day of School on Tuesday, February 2nd. Classrooms were buzzing with excitement all day and students were thrilled to be 100 days smarter. Necklaces of 100 cheerios and fruit loops were everywhere. Students wore 100 stickers, a one hundred dollar bill, homemade 100 shirts, 100 crowns and many other cool 100th Day attire. The kindergarten classrooms brought 100 pieces of a food and made GORP. The students then had to sort the GORP and report what item they had the most of. The GORP was wonderful. The day ended with a 100th Day Parade. The second grade student made floats to celebrate all we have learned in the past 100 days. The other students had instruments of all kinds. The parade was enjoyed by the elementary and high school circles. The day was full of excitement and fun was had by all.
