National Mentoring Month

On Tuesday, January 26th, the Sutton Chapter of TeamMates honored their mentors during the half time of the Sutton-Centennial boys’ basketball game.
Those honored include: Sara Nuss, Harriett Maser, Fred Matteson,
Carole Matteson, Cheryl Dedrickson, Cody Perrien, Bob Stone, Don Russell, Regina Leininger, Liz Carlson, Alyce Leininger, Carole Grady, MaryAnn Spearman, Duane Majors, Marg Gangwish, Jane Green, Clancy Nuss, Robert Kirchoff, Delores Leininger, Rita Johnson.
This recognition coincides with National Mentoring Month. The Sutton TeamMates Program appreciates the dedication these adults have provided to the youth of Sutton. They meet one hour a week at school to make the “one hour difference” in the lives of youth.
The Board of Directors of the Sutton TeamMates has also dedicated themselves to making a difference. The board supports the program by raising money, providing scholarships to seniors, and supporting TeamMate activities. The board includes Sallie Barbee, Annette Yost, Dana Wiseman, Judy Nuss, Richard Vangroningen, Marcia Leininger, Ashley Ulmer, Beth Ericson, and Harriet Maser.
