NCAA Eligibility Requirements

NCAA Clearinghouse: High school students who may be planning to take part in athletics at the Division I or Division II level must register with the NCAA Clearinghouse to make sure they meet the minimum requirements for college athletics as an incoming freshmen. Student athletes should begin the registration process during their sophomore year in high school. Eligibility at the Division I and II are different. Eligibility is based on the following criteria. The number of core classes a student athlete has taken during their high school years. ACT or SAT score, and grade point average in the core classes. Students who attend Division III or NAIA schools are governed by institutional, conference and other regulations. If you have questions about athletic eligibility visit with your college. If you wish to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse you may do so by going to www.ncaa.org. Then go to Academics and Athletes, then click on NCAA Eligibility Center. The registration fee is $60.00.
