2nd-4th Grade Curriculum

On June 16, 2008 the Sutton Public Schools Board of Education adopted a revised and updated curriculum for all subject areas Pre-K through 12th grade. The following is a list of 2nd-4th grade curriculum as supported through our primary grades. The curriculum developed for grades 2-4 is directly aligned to the Nebraska School-Based, Teacher-Led Assessment Reporting System (STARS). As updates are made to our statewide assessment system, our curriculum will continue to evolve to include Nebraska Academic Standards for Mathematics, Reading/Writing, Science and Social Studies/History as required by LB 1157. This curriculum does as of yet not reflect the new (2009) Language Arts Standards or new (2010) Math Standards from the Nebraska Department of Education.
