My name is Carrie Thornton. This is my fourth year here at SPS. I taught Special Education K-12 for two years and then switched to kindergarten. Being raised in a small town in central Nebraska I enjoy now teaching in a smaller community.
I live in York where I enjoy spending time with my two children and husband. I completed my education at Chadron State College with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education K-12 Mild/Moderate.
Kindergarten is exciting each and every day. I love the vast imagination of my students. Everyday we learn something new about each other as we grow as a class.
