In Kindergarten we use Everyday Chicago Mathematics.  The kindergartners learn a variety of skills throughout the year.  These are a few skills your child may have at the end of kindergarten.  Thanks to Mrs.Schmer the other kindergarten teacher the students have much needed pencil and paper practice.

Count forward from 0-115

Count back from 20-0

Skip count by 2's, 5's and 10s

Write the numbers from 0-20

Read three digit numbers

Recognize and understand 1/2.

Estimate time using hour hand.

Know value of penny, nickel and dime.  Recognize a quarter.

Enjoy playing simple games.
