2008 Sutton FFA Banquet

Sutton FFA members, parents, alumni, and local supporters of the chapter got together on Saturday evening, March 29th to celebrate another successful year. Several members were honored for their individual achievements. Dyllon Schmer was selected at the Star Greenhand, Cory Griess was named the Star in Ag Placement and Ashley Nunnenkamp was honored for being selected the district and chapter star in Agribusiness.
Dean and Glenda Griess and Mr. Larry weaver, Superintendent of Sutton were given the Honoray Chapter Degree for their outstanding support of our chapter. Lifetime achivement honorees were Teri Gemar and Lyle and Deb Nunnenkamp.
Chapter Scholarship winners were Lakyn Mau, Megan Korb, Nels Johnson, Mackenzie Schlautman, Jason Lemkau, and Stephanie George. Chapter Leadership Award winners recognized were Jake Nuss, Tyler Griess, Dyllon Schmer, Shelby Yost, Samantha Overturf, and Cory Griess.
The 2008-09 officers were elected as the last official item of business during the evening. Samantha Overturf will take the position of President and will be joined by Mackenzie Schlautman as Vice President, Shelby Yost as Secretary, Taylor Schlautman as Treasurer, Heather Overturf and Jason Lemkau as Reporters, Levi Ochsner as Sentinel and Nels Johnson as Parliamentarian.
